How We Work

Design Consultation. We will discuss how you plan to use the space, what your needs are and your budget. We will take measurements and gather general information needed for the next meeting. Please allow at least 1 hour for this meeting.

Presenting the Design. The second meeting will take place at our office. We will present a floor plan and a detailed Scope of Work with cost of the project. The design will be reviewed to ensure the design team has addressed all of the items you wish to include in your project.

Whether we are creating a new kitchen space or developing a design for a new lower level, you will be able to view your design in 3D to help you visualize your new space.

Signing the contract. When the floor plan and Scope of Work meet your approval, it’s time to sign the contract and place the project on our production schedule. It typically takes 4 weeks to start your project after the contract is signed and the scheduling deposit is received.

Selection Process. Upon signing the contract, our design team will go to work finalizing your design and 3D renderings. In the next 2-3 weeks you will be asked to make your selections. These selections need to be made in an effort to keep your job on budget and on schedule. Start Construction. Upon the start of construction, we will have a meeting in your basement with you, the designer, and a member of our construction team. We will confirm the layout and address any concerns that may arise.

Steve was very knowledgable and helpful with the design of our basement. I gave him a high-level overview of what we wanted and he came back with a proposed layout. Steve then sat down with my wife and I and he made revisions 'real-time' on his computer based on our input. This process made it very easy for my wife and I to visualize how our basement would turn out. This is a great process!
