average of 4-6 months.

Consultation, Plan and Proposal –

At Basements Plus we start out with a 90 minute free in-home consultation.  In this meeting our experienced basement specialist will inspect and measure your space and discuss your wants and needs for your project. Information from this appt is brought back to our CAD team to design a basement plan based on your vision.  Approximately 2 weeks later, the basement specialist will present a floor plan, 3D renderings, detailed proposal, and price.  This first step can take up to 4 weeks, depending on how booked up the calendar gets for the basement specialist.

Details, Confirmation and Ordering –

Once you have signed a contract with Basements Plus, you will meet with your Project Developer to go through the details of your design. This is where you will pick out your colors, material selections and add custom details if you choose. Next your dedicated project manager will come back to the house to verify measurements and make sure that the plan is ready to build.  Once all the details have been double checked and approved, we will order your materials and plan your construction schedule. This process generally takes 6-12 weeks, depending on the complexity of your design.

Construction –

Now it is finally time to start building! With a detailed plan in place and your job schedule posted to your online portal, construction will begin. The process of building out the basement can take 9-14 weeks.

So Yes, that means you need to call a basement remodeler in July to be using your basement by the Holidays.
