Finished Basements Plus did a great job in remodeling our basement. Originally the basement was nothing but a catch all that wasn’t used for anything but storage and a place for our elliptical. Now it is a beautiful place that is used for family events and a great place to just hang out and watch TV. Our basement was the only place I had to use for my art and photography work, but for four to six months of the year, it was too cold to use. We received estimates from various contractors but were sold on Finished Basements Plus when we went to an open house shortly after we had […]

Steve was great as our project manager. There was some minor miscommunication from the salesperson to the project manager, but all was resolved and the work looks good. The company does a nice job and will make things right. They stand behind their work and are professional. The people working in my home were always […]

With a growing family, these homeowners wanted to add some extra usable space in their home. Finishing their large unfinished basement turned out to be the perfect solution. Our designers worked with the homeowners to design a space that could be used by everyone. They developed a playroom with french doors for the kids, which could be closed off to hide any clutter. They also worked to design a bar area for entertaining attached to a large living room for watching movies and the big game. An added bonus in this basement is the addition of a bathroom and fitness space that add functionality and convenience to the basement. This family now has a beautiful cozy finished basement that they can all use and enjoy.

Chip Doyle was great at helping us come up with an additional design. Katie helped to make all the details work – from electrical outlets to design changes. Steve Marco was on top of everything – always would stop by to check on the crews. He also suggested some major changes to our earlier design […]

This family was looking to transform their unfinished basement into a multi functional space that everyone could enjoy. A custom playhouse was created for the kids underneath the staircase and a large living room was created with the addition of a bar space for the adults to entertain in.

This basement was technically already finished in classic vinyl square tiles and ceiling tiles that were starting to age and sag. The decor had become outdated and they wanted their basement to feel like a part of their home again.

The floor plan stayed the same, with a few add-on’s. Here you can see a walk up bar with built-in dining table that was added for entertainment.
