Finished Basements Plus Case Studies: Creative Entertainment Cabinets Hide Sump Pump in Sterling Heights, MI

Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 by Adam Jensen

These homeowners were looking to create a brand new space that they could use for entertaining. Within the basement, they already had a place in mind for their theater space but it was also home to their sump pump. A creative design was needed to hide the sump pump in order to keep this room free of obstacles.

We designed a row of cabinets for under the display that have the appearance of speaker grills but they can actually be used for storage. The left most cabinet even houses the sump pump. These are a great way to hide things such as the sump pump and water meter without taking up extra space.
