In determining which businesses received the 2017 Guildmaster Award, GuildQuality reviewed thousands of survey responses submitted by customers of Guildmaster candidates, and considered two primary metrics for each candidate: the percentage of customers stating they would recommend the business to friend and the percentage of customers who responded.
Basements Plus achieved a recommendation rate of 90% or above from their customers surveyed by GuildQuality.
We have been awarded a Gold Award in the Basement Remodel category of the 2017 HBA of Southeastern Michigan Design Awards! This lower level in Franklin, MI presented design challenges due to the unique staircase and modern industrial design. Working through these challenges, this lower level was completed to provide this family with a multipurpose space that could be used for hosting guests and visiting family.

Basements Plus has been selected by REMODELING magazine to join the REMODELING Big50. Each year since 1986, the REMODELING Big50 inducts 50 remodeling companies that have set exceptionally high standards for professionalism and integrity through exemplary business practices, craftsmanship, and impact in their community or the industry at large. Big50 remodelers run successful, often growing, companies of various sizes that have taken the lead in raising industry standards.
“To get a sense of how unique this status is, consider there are roughly 98,000 remodeling firms in America with paid staff,” noted Craig Webb, REMODELING’s Editor-in-Chief. “Since 1986, we have selected only about 1,600 firms. That’s just 1.6% of all the remodeling businesses in the country today.”
Since 1978, the QR Top 500 has been the leading benchmark of growth and success among remodeling firms. Each year, companies from all 50 states apply, but only 500 make it.
For the 6th year in a row Basements Plus has moved up the rankings of Qualified Remodelers Top 500 list! This year we have made a large leap of 105 spots! We are now in the 197th slot.
The Remodeling 550, an annual feature since 2009, profiles the nation’s biggest full-service re-modelers, replacement contractors, insurance restoration firms, and franchise operations.
We have jumped up 32 spots from last years award! We are pleased to announce we have come in at the 59th spot for 2018!
