In this project, our crew installed a SmartJack support system along with a supplemental beam in an alcove space beneath the home's front porch in this Milford, MI basement. The supplemental beam provides extra support across the area, while the SmartJack system helps stabilize the structure above to address concerns with sagging or weakened floor supports.
Sagging or uneven floors can lead to more than uneven floors. Many homeowners could also notice gaps around trim, or doors and windows that become difficult to open and close.
