Finished Basement with Bar and Reading Nook in Commerce Twp., MI
Details That Make the Space
About this Project
This finished basement in Commerce Township, MI was transformed into a comfortable retreat to relax and entertain.
The bar overlooks a cozy living area, creating a great spot to relax and watch TV. A built-in wine rack near the reading nook adds a unique touch, while the matching shiplap wall ties the nook into the living room.
One important design feature is the drywall ceiling, helping bring the entire space together, making it feel like a true extension of the home rather than a traditional basement.
